Preschool Storytime In-Person

Preschool Storytime is a 45-minute program for children ages 3-5. Join Ms.Sarah to share stories, songs, felt board fun, and movement activities.

Registration is required.

Feedback

1. Age Group: This program is intended for preschool-aged children, ages 3-5. If you register a child not in this age group, your registration will be removed.

2. Siblings: Younger siblings are welcome to attend.

3. Cancellations: If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration online or call the library at 508-839-4649. This allows us to offer your spot to someone on the waiting list.

4. Three-Strike Rule: Due to the popularity of our programs, if you miss three programs without informing the library ahead of time, you will be unable to register for future programs.

5.Supervision: Children under the age of seven must be within arm’s length of a parent or guardian over the age of 14 at all times while in the library.

6. Late Arrivals: Your slot will be held for 5 minutes after the program begins. If you are more than 5 minutes late, your slot will be given to a waiting patron.

7.Waitlist Notification: If a slot opens up, you will be contacted within 24 hours of the program start time.Showing up on the day of the program does not guarantee a slot.

Unattended Children

For the safety of our youngest patrons, Library visitors must comply with the Library’s Unattended Child Policy:

0-7 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times;

8-12 must be accompanied by parent/guardian who remains in the Library;

13+ may be unaccompanied, provided child is able to use Library independently and follow the Library’s Code of Conduct;

Children under age 13 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian over the age of 14.

Program Policy

Please be mindful when registering for programs. If you can no longer attend a program, please alert staff so we can give your spot to someone on the waiting list.

In winter months:

If school is cancelled, Library programs are cancelled.

If school is delayed, morning programs are cancelled and afternoon programs may be cancelled; please check our website for more information.

If school is released early due to weather conditions, afternoon programs are cancelled.

If the municipal center cancels evening programs and meetings, Library programs are cancelled.
